The local Vibrations detach from their source, redolent and Decembering: they are out of their minds, out of monsters; invented or otherwise. Pre-empting Loos, their early skin is all Ornament and Crime, pulsing like thousands of needling naphtha winters; flurrying, microscopically unique like excited snow, caught in the fibres of linguistic topology, threads of gravity bleeding from a busted lip, and bright—
bent horizon splices form and shadow, a fucked Rorschach, you will interpret: jags of negative space: like the niched autobiography of Tikal ruler Jasaw Chan K'awiil, carved in his own bones, a locked history to be deciphered by godseyes only.
Speak in small pictures.
"...The marble index of a mind for ever
Voyaging through strange seas of Thought, alone..."
But you cannot even conceive of solitude when every blink of time is thick with memories, with self-reflex—
[The author pauses to consider your idea—“How have I used this THOUGHT, these WORDS, before? Can WE ever escape our graphical PASTS? And WHO was IT for, then? And WHO is IT for, now? How does TIME interrogate ME (1), what are my RESPONSES (2), and (3), how would those RESPONSES differ from those supplied by CONCRETE*?]
* with regard to time: there exists a distinct sensory architecture, or composition, to those gray pores, compressed geologic evidence of Instance and urban wound: vomit, spit, gum, piss, semen, cigarette butts, rain / but: there is an expiration date for all perfumes.
…And K’awiil re-enters the scene(!): king of a decalcified city; we are All Flesh; chains of vacant signifiers in a glass-bottomed nightmare, wafting over the Hell below, oppressed by the void above, qualifying the negative and the nonexistent with scripture, and other forms of illegible advertising: its syntax is smooth and punctuated by an Exodus—the crucifix is a volumetric projection of a single faith, a stochastic event that we have let repeat forever. Bleak and sweet, I smile upon the Word as though a deaf child.
